Safe Rooms/ Shelters
- Shelters are built with 1/4 in. outer steel plates, 3 in. square steel posts, and anchored to concrete with 5/8 in. expansion anchors.
- All above ground shelters feature 5 locking points. These are comprised of an industrial quality locking latch and four 1 in. stainless steel bolts.
- You can tell just how safe and secure you are when you slide the bolts shut!
- All safe rooms are painted with a durable commercial quality paint. The paint looks good while providing a durable finish.
*An additional deadbolt can be installed on any of our products.
Installation Options:
- Typical installation options include garages, patios, or on free-standing concrete pads.
- If you are building a new home there is multiple other options including using as a closet or a food pantry.
- If needed we can install a separate concrete pad to anchor your shelter in place.
- As part of our installation process, we will verify the strength of your concrete, scan for rebar/cable locations, and ensure our anchoring process does not affect the strength of the foundation of your home.
